Where design meets the lens

My story begins long before Summerfield Photographic Wall Art existed — it begins with a camera in my hands at school, where photography was a core subject and quickly became a quiet obsession. That early love of light, composition and capturing a moment never left me, even as life took me down a different path.

For over 20 years I have worked as an interior designer, and for more than 13 of those years I have run my own small design studio. Renovating homes for clients has always been my craft and my passion — there is nothing quite like the process of transforming a space, and nothing more rewarding than the look on a client's face when they walk into a room that finally feels like "home".

It was through this work that photography found its way back into my life. I began photographing my own design projects — the finished spaces, the textures, the details I had poured myself into. But something unexpected kept happening: clients would see these images and ask where they could buy artwork just like it for their walls.

That question sparked something in me. I realised there was a gap — a need for striking, original photographic art that was created specifically with interior spaces in mind. Not mass-produced prints, but images with soul, captured by someone who understands how art and a room speak to each other. And so, Summerfield Photographic Wall Art was born.

Today, this is where my two great passions finally meet. Every photograph I create carries the eye of a designer and the heart of a photographer — a lifelong love rediscovered, and now shared with you. I hope each piece brings the same sense of warmth, beauty and belonging to your home that I have always sought to create for my design clients.
